redhat9下如何安装nvidia驱动？

我下载了最新的驱动，安装好后，再把nv改成nvidia后就不行了。进X黑屏死机，也没有看到logo，我装错了吗？我的是nforce主板，集成gf2 mmx

显卡类型选择错误了。我记得nforce2的显卡不是mx的。
查看过说明书吗？

我这是Nforce1 的主板,集成Geforce 2 mmx,没错，Fe do ra 默认就是这个，可我想装nvidia 驱动而开启OpenGL加速,装好后，改nv-->nvidia就startx后黑屏死机了，不知道为什么

Linux系统默认的是NVIDIA GeForce 2 MX (generic),按理说装好驱动改nv-->nvidia，启动就会看见Logo了，我怎么就死机了

没有用过nv的显卡，顶一下。
你应该在下载驱动时看看安装说明的，可以把它贴出来吗？我的朋友？

驱动就是6629,最新的吧这个,装好后xorg.conf没有变化

如果不行的话，先试试使用一下vesa模式。

注释掉即可~

还是不行,不过后来我装4349的就启动了3D加速了,真的好高兴,玩暗黑破坏神2,有了3D加速快多了,那个企鹅游戏也很快了,下个目标就是运行半条命2
