我试过了，用中文和英文都不行。可是我记得以前装rh9.0的时候没问题的啊，我该怎么办？

具体情况是这样子DI～～话说....：我用的是fedora core1+KDE,当初安装linux的过程中已经选择安装了英文和中文。但是我用linux的时候还是一直用英文。直到有一天...我打开menu－“添加－删除程序”中想安装openoffice，然后我就先到桌面上右击，用KDE的挂载工具将光盘挂载到默认的/mnt/cdrom，然后开始update，于是就出现一个对话框，"Error installing packages
There was an error installing packages.
Exiting."

system-config-packages
然后重新来一回。
把在终端下显示的所有东西都贴上来。

fc1下受限用户好像可以看见这个程序.

去找个srpm来用用就得了.

你的意思是说可以运行它并看见安装了什么，却安装不了？？

是的，点击“update”，放入光盘之后不久就会显示一个“错误”的对话框。可以肯定的是，光盘没有坏，因为我打开光盘直接点击rpm来安装是可以的。
