适应环境ing,请问怎么调整RH9与windos的启动

大家好,请问怎么调整RH9与windos启动的顺序和时间.
我用帖子里说的怎么都无法访问windows分区?我是两个硬盘,一个10G,分两区,第一分区C为fat,想与linux共享,XP安装在第二分区E为NTFS.第二硬盘由RH自动分区.安装RH时显示的第一分区是fda1和fda5,我就用root在运行处"mount －t vfat /dev/hda5 /mnt/winc"和"mount －t vfat /dev/hda5 /mnt/wind"等都不行.

好的，谢谢serry，我现在在windows下使用只是支持IE的聊天室等人。稍后我去RH再贴上来。我的windowsXP原来是再第一分区C盘的，资料盘是扩展分区E，后来用fdisk删掉主分区重新安装，资料区变成C，系统就变成E盘。9点钟你在线吧？

如果=0则默认启动第一项，=1则默认启动第二项，以此类推。

default=0,而我的windowsXP就在ootnoverify (hd0,0),Red Hat Linux 9.0才是root (hd1,0)
是不是改一下plashimage=(hd1,0)/grub/splash.xpm.gz呢?
改为plashimage=(hd0,1)/grub/splash.xpm.gz可以吧?
修改等待时间是timeout=10对吗?
