rage pro 128不行，只有radeon 8500及以上的才可以。
你的rage pro 128不需要公版驱动，本来就没什么3D加速能力，用XFree86或者xorg自带的驱动就足够了。

我按照帖子上说的方法安装成功了xorg和ATI驱动，进X也没问题了，可是Ctrl+Alt+FX进虚拟控制台的话会花屏，为什么呢？虽然花屏还是可以login的，之后clear就没事了，只是没有以前XFree86时那么细致的分辨率了。这些都不是主要的，主要的是再切换回X，X也花屏，根本用不了！再切换的话就可能显示器无信号（没有死机），键盘不久就会死掉。听说不正常重启很伤硬盘的，再者没有umount其他XP的盘，进XP又要检测，很不爽啊～～
我是新手，谁能教教我？虽然我很想不用XP完全转Linux，但是硬盘快满了，都是歌和电影等，没办法啊～～～

你可以格式化XP所在的盘，呵呵，把东西慢慢往ext3 or reiserfs分区上面挪嘛，或者fat32的话不用了，直接使用就好。

ML认不了我全部的文件，不是说是2.6.9内核的问题吗？暂时还不怎么会升内核。
我专门分了一个Fat32区来共享一些下载，不过比较小的分区，没办法。而且有个问题是Linux下我不会开二级代理，我校园网的，只能用pac脚本，而在windows下有同学编了个类似代理猎手的软件，可以直接过滤掉收费IP而且不用单独设置软件代理上网，我还需要它来下一些Linux方面的软件

我那个花屏的问题是怎么回事？有什么可能原因吗？

过新和过老的ati显卡可以用fglrx_binary_edit把libfglrx_ip.a.GCC3的驱动参数
改一下，我的mobility radeon 9700 se就是fglrx_binary_edit 0x4E53 0x4E50
然后在xorg.conf中显卡driver中指定ChipID 0x4E50可以骗过驱动包中的一些
参数，兼容老驱动。

说明没有装上3D驱动

我用2.6.12.5装这个驱动正常，升级2.6.13.4后也出现这个问题，郁闷。。。
新内核下ATI驱动如何安装阿？老大们帮忙

我连xorg都装不上,下了的那些包中有以下两个装不上
xorg-x11-font-utils
error:unpacking of archive failed on file /usr/X11R6/bin/mkfontdir: cpio : rename failed -是一个目录
xorg-x11-xauth
error:unpacking of archive failed on file /usr/X11R6/bin/xauth: cpio :rename failde -是一个目录

x也进不了,
正在下载bata3看看能装ati不
