关于编译的问题

现在我想试试自己在RC1下编译一下 GNOME 2.12，但是对编译了解太少，有很多东西不懂，想向各位老大请教一下。

1. 编译 file-roller 需要 gnome-doc-utils 的支持，我已经把 gnome-doc-utils 包 configure & make install 了。但是它还是提示我系统没有 gnome-doc-utils，我应该怎么做？这是我的出错信息 ：

checking for gnome-doc-utils >= 0.3.2... Package gnome-doc-utils was not found in the pkg-config search path. Perhaps you should add the directory containing `gnome-doc-utils.pc' to the PKG_CONFIG_PATH environment variable No package 'gnome-doc-utils' found
configure: error: Library requirements (gnome-doc-utils >= 0.3.2) not met; consider adjusting the PKG_CONFIG_PATH environment variable if your libraries are in a nonstandard prefix so pkg-config can find them.

2. 有一些包编译时提示需要一些库，例如 libbonobo。但是这些库在 GNOME 的源代码里好像没有的，我是应该上网下一个新的源代码编译还是到 ML 的 APT 源下个 RPM 包呢？

3. gnome-mime-data 这个包，我在以前安装 GNOME 的时候都有它的 RPM 包的，但是在 GNOME 的 FTP 上都没有相对的源代码包。

不想用 garnome，想多学点东西，不过觉得太多东西不懂了，请老大们指点指点

首先unistall，重新configure --prefix=/usr

2. 有一些包编译时提示需要一些库，例如 libbonobo。但是这些库在 GNOME 的源代码里好像没有的，我是应该上网下一个新的源代码编译还是到 ML 的 APT 源下个 RPM 包呢？
