看来大家对ati驱动都灰心了

是呀,问问题先自己先查一下吗?,论坛的旧帖,或google,然后实际操作出问题,给出详细描述才对的,
还有就是,新手装软件,应该先自己看看解压包后有没有说明文档,很多的软件都有说明的

自己都不会用搜索, 只会问, 为免被人说光说不练,只好帮别人搜:

1. cvs get
$ cvs -z3 -d:pserver:[email protected]:/cvs/dri login
CVS password: <hit return>
$ cvs -z3 -d:pserver:[email protected]:/cvs/dri co drm

2.编译安装drm
cd build/extras/drm
./autogen.sh
./configure
make linux-dri-x86
make install

3.编译安装drm中的内核模块
#对2.6内核
cd build/extras/drm/linux-core
#2.4内核
cd build/extras/drm/linux
make
cp *.ko /lib/modules/...../drivers/char/drm/
depmod
modprobe radeon
dmessg
输出应该显示radeon是1.19版的

哥哥呀,ati的问题可是普遍现象呀,难道他们都没先查一下吗/我是查了的,ati有几个在ml2.0
安装成功的,有的话,教我一声,其他的linux也许有可能,ati下的驱动是attachment名称的run包我也不知如何解压,ati全网站是英文,能准确看懂的有几个,linuxsir, 伊甸园  。。。都看了都没用呀
我也知道这事内刻和ati的事我只是发一下感慨,
系统备份的事,我想这是有用的,那个高手不有系统崩溃的,尤其是新手,当然对我来说,我用linux也有7-8个月了,系统崩溃主要是ati的原因,高手介绍的软件(系统备份ghost)本网站下不来,其他网上的是win的,但有个问题其使用好像必须系统起动后才能用,系统崩溃那我用什么

人家后缀都说是run了,那就是可执行文件,直接执行之即可
你解压人家干吗,能解压人家干吗用run做后缀

都没用,magic linux用的是2.6 kernel

直接试一下make后面不跟参数看看能不能编译吧

或者找到你要编译的模块所在的src目录,然后就进入这个目录
