SCSI 安装 redhat 发生致命错误，求解答

电脑配置：
acer 4520G  
串口硬盘
安装 redhat 13.8(内核 2.4.26)
文本安装，选择硬盘时分区时出现如下提示后重启：
  an   error   has   occured   -   no   valid   devices   were   found   on   which   to  create   new   file   systems. please   check   your   hardware   for   the   cause   of   this   problem.  

在 IDE 硬盘上试过能正常安装，在 g.cn、baidu 里搜到的文章大同小异，没找到能实际解决问题的

求高手给出解决办法！

RH 才出到9 ，楼主哪里弄的 13.8 ？

你的硬盘是 SATA 的，需要载入 SCSI 驱动（ Linux 把 SATA 当成 SCSI 处理，WinXP 也这样，不过他好像自带部分驱动了）。
