NVIDIA显卡驱动进不 了 X？

nVidia Corporation NV18 [GeForce4 MX 440 AGP 8x]显卡安装NVIDIA-Linux-x86-96.43.07-pkg1.run驱动后进不了 X，只好改为原来的nv进X。

提示如下：

或者升级显卡，用最新的 177.80 以上的版本驱动，这个支持 xorg-server 1.5 了。

ps: 173xx的驱动也支持1.5了,,177xx的只支持6xxx以上的显卡

96.43.09安装后可以启动X但字体显示混在一起黑黑的一连片,看不清
