mysql安装问题请教？

这是我在安装mysql时，运行./configure --prefix=/www/mysql命令时的提示：
NOTE: This is a MySQL binary distribution. It's ready to run, you don't
need to configure it!

To help you a bit, I am now going to create the needed MySQL databases
and start the MySQL server for you.  If you run into any trouble, please
consult the MySQL manual, that you can find in the Docs directory.

Neither host 'Linuxer' and 'localhost' could not be looked up with
./bin/resolveip
Please configure the 'hostname' command to return a correct hostname.
If you want to solve this at a later stage, restart this script with
the --force option
请问我该如何实现，提示要求的修改。

你下载的是二进制版，这个不用configure
如何安装，你看看说明。

我也很抱歉，不知道具体怎么安装。
建议你小心一点，安装MySQL不是件容易的事。
我曾经装了好几遍才装上………
