this is impossible. many users like to use menu, which may not be supported by mrxvt at all. many users also like screen. ;-)

this is called pseudo-transparency. it means it will copy the desktop background to the mrxvt background. so the problem is, if there's another window between the mrxvt window and the desktop, mrxvt will still show the background of desktop, but not the content of the intermediate window.

mrxvt can also utilize the translucent feature of the leatest Xorg 6.8.1. this is the true transparent: everything under the mrxvt window can be shown in the mrxvt window.

如果你等不及，可以试试这个CVS版本，和新版本应该没什么大的区别了。因为论坛上传附件大小限制，我只能把源文件split为两个文件上传，你可以下载这两个文件，然后运行命令cat mrxvt-cvs-part1.tar.bz2 mrxvt-cvs-part2.tar.bz2 > mrxvt-cvs.tar.bz2并成一个文件。

tii,有个问题向你请教，我也是在别的论坛的帖子问了你的，估计你没注意。

就是现在我在windows端使用Xmanager,然后使用mrxvt连上linux

在使用XFT的时候，速度特别慢，而且我还注意到了，是使用AA选项的时候才特别慢，但是这时字体效果特别难看。有没有办法解决这个问题？

注：在linux本机上的KDE里使用mrxvt+XFT的时候正常

这个很抱歉没有办法解决，这是因为XFT在画AA的字的时候速度太慢而导致，我也没办法。

所以问题是不是XFT画好后，再传给客户端显示，因为数据量比较大，由于是通过网络传递的，导致我看到的显示就特别慢呢？

在X里，选中文字自动就被复制了，粘贴的话只要点鼠标中键即可，所以这两个功能我没有加入快捷键的功能列表里。[/quote]

我在公司里编译安装的可以鼠标左键复制，中键粘贴，而在家里的计算机上不能，两个的编译参数一样，唯一不同是公司里用的是XFree86，家里用的是xorg，这是什么原因呢?
